98% of a Used Lead Acid Battery (ULAB) is recyclable, thus making the resource recovery of this waste product extremely important.
By the reinjecting of the recycled lead from Used Lead Acid Batteries back into the system, we reduce the amount of new lead that needs to be mined. The energy saved by the recycling process over the mining of the raw material is around 75%.
